I just recently came over from Elfwood because some of the mods were complete dumbasses with an IQ of about 30. I don't work well with idiots.

I'm looking for CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM on my artwork. Obviously I'm not nearly good enough to be a professional, and I don't ever plan to be. My career path of choice is medicine, and I am currently in school. I will be taking the MCAT in less than half a year, so obviously the majority of my attention and energy is directed elsewhere.

Not only do I want constructive criticism, I give it. Don't expect many "OOO WOW I LUV IT OMG LOL!" comments from me, and please don't be offended by what I say. I will not comment on "emo" or "crap anime." By crap anime I do not mean anime in general, I just mean the anime that many people draw in about 5 minutes and they think they're awesome....you know what? You're not. True anime I love...crap anime is just crap.

Ok so hope I didn't scare you off :)
I do love looking at other people's work and giving hints on how to improve/what to improve, and praise where due.

I think one has to have an iq of about 30 to work as a mod on elfwood and not want to break a bottle over ones own head in frusteration. Heehee! Welcome to deviantart.

You know, I've been on Elfwood for nearly 5 years...and then one morning I'm so fuckin' pissed I just delete my entire account and move everything to deviantart...and I can't say I miss it. Thanks for the welcome :)

What happened to make you so angry? I thought about deleting my elfwood stuff but am having too much fun with satire. Just the other day, I was drawing a still life in my basement and was able to think of a spontaneous joke out of that. X-D

Nazi interpretation of the rules by many of the newer mods combined with being publicly chastised for a dumb mistake I made (considering I was by far the most active mod and largely responsible for getting rid of the queue, of course I'm going to make mistakes at some point...) and a few other little things.

Yeah, that happened to me also. Four or five days would go by and the only new additions going up were things I'd mod. The others would log in long enough to erase half my modpicks. Noone would ever be in the IRC because they were all too busy discussing their dorky fandoms at elftown. Noone ever let me know when I made a mistake so it's not MY fault I'm the legendary elfwood saboteur. I was serious when I called those people OCD. They need to get help. -And a social life. Maybe they can find some real guys to hang out with so they can learn that guys aren't all emo and want to have sex with each other. X-D
